ADMINISTRATIVE PASTOR

Rev. Dr. William L. Morris

Pastor Morris graduated with a master of divinity degree from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, in 1986. He served his vicarage at Trinity Lutheran Church in Nashville, Illinois. He graduated with a doctor of ministry degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, in 2000. He served as pastor at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Engadine, MI, 1986-1990; Grace Lutheran Church, Germfask, MI, 1987-1990. He served St. John Lutheran Church, Waltz, MI, as associate pastor, 1990-1993, and as administrative pastor, 1993-2001. He was called to serve Immanuel Lutheran Church as administrative pastor in 2001. Pastor and his wife Cheryl have three children: Amanda, Jessica, and Daniel.

ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Rev. James D. Erickson

James D. Erickson graduated with a master of divinity degree from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, in 1982. He served his vicarage at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Alpena, Michigan, in 1980. Following graduation in 1982, he was called as associate pastor and is presently serving in that capacity. Pastor and his wife Lisa, who serves as the parish nurse, have two children, twins: Luke and Kaelie.

Mrs. Becky Sommerfeld is the lead secretary serving mornings in the Immanuel Church office. She and her husband, David, have two boys, Mathew and Chase.

Mrs. Laura King is the church custodian. She and her husband, Fred, have four children. Three adult sons Adam, Eric and Alex, and a daughter, Mary, who is a student at Alpena high.
