Evangelism

"Telling the good news" is what evangelism means.  Christ's mandate for the church is to "Go into the whole world and make disciples of all nations, baptizing and teaching them of Jesus Christ."
 
The Board of Evangelism promotes an outreach, mission "consciousness" in the members of the congregation by sponsoring workshops, providing tracts and booklets for Christian witness, highlighting friendship connections with a "Friendship Sunday", conducting ongoing training in visitation outreach to contacts and visitors, maintaining a weekly radio ministry --- introducing people to the person of Jesus Christ and the new life offered freely through faith in Him.
