And that is what we are! 1 John 3:1 This month our school chapel theme is the Fifth Petition of the Lord’s Prayer: And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. We pray in this petition that, by God’s grace, we be forgiven for the many times we sin against Him. Just as He forgives us, so we too will sincerely forgive and gladly do good to those who sin against us. It is with joy and thankfulness that at Immanuel Lutheran School we can teach and practice the act of forgiveness, openly acknowledging the forgiveness Jesus won for us on the cross. We can call on the Holy Spirit to deepen and strengthen our faith in Christ, our Savior. Many times each day we ask for and receive God’s salvation-giving forgiveness. With God’s guidance, we also offer that forgiveness to all those around us. His forgiveness leads to healed relationships, renewed friendships, and second chances. Thank God for the privilege of teaching, learning, and working in an atmosphere of forgiveness! | Immanuel Lutheran School Do you shop online? Would you like to earn Immanuel School some funds? You just earn the school a percentage of your purchase. Each retailer has a different percentage they will give back to the school. Great Lakes Scrip Center is a non-profit organization which provides gift cards from national and local retailers which can be used in the store, gas stations, hotels, fast food, dine in or online. There are 100's of retailers that participate. You order gift cards at face value and in return the school gets a percentage of the value. Orders are due by Tuesday 11:00 a.m. and your gift cards are available for pick up Thursday afternoon. Our youth group is charting a bus to go to the Creation Museum on March 2, and then attending the Dare2Share Youth Conference in Dayton, OH. + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + CAMP ARCADIA  Christian Teen Retreat Week of June 10-16 for Youth entering 9th or 10th grade, cost is $325.00 Week of June 17-23 Youth entering 10th, 11th, or 12th grade. Cost is $350.00 per youth. ILC Youth Group has allot $75.00 for the first 7 youth.
